All of it screams one thing — New Orleans! But New Orleans Jazz incorporates more than just Second Line and Brass Bands. The foundation of the style goes back to Blues and Spirituals. It expanded into Rag Time, Stride and early Jazz. In the roaring 20s that sprung into a powerful, raw, improvised, yet highly choreographed dance band sound that gave birth to the age of the Big Bands.
